Famington Old Farm
6 houses, 5 converted from old farm buildings make up Famington Old Farm, with a new drive cut through the fields from Grafton Lane - sometimes not shown on the SatNav!!
With one wall of glass and the others lined in old timbers, a cute little wood burning stove, and a kettle - what more could you wish for?
The wood shed
Kay's enamel plates of colour
The awesome view!
Colours, colours, glorious colours
Mix them, don't mix them, they are beautiful.
From sugar lumps via velvet ribbon to twine!
A peaceful 10 minute cuppa.
Turnips last year, oil-seed rape this year, what will it be next year? Cattle? Sheep? A crop? Have to wait and see!
Scissors from Kay's grandmother, linen thread and cloths from Sweden, bits of lace, lengths of twine in lovely tertiary shades, a scrap of this and a metre of that!!
A comfy bean bag!
There is sewing, painting, making, altering, cutting, sticking, and pretty much anything you like to challenge yourself with!
